Wedding Consultant Eva Plans From Start To Finish

Eva's Wedding Paradise creates wedding celebrations that fulfill your own personal wishes and dreams. The following is just one example.

After arriving in Rothenburg, you go to a fine historic hotel located inside the old town wall. It has beautiful views of the Tauber river valley. During the next three days, you enjoy discovering Rothenburg's gothic, renaissance, and baroque architecture and the surrounding pastoral countryside. You can do some sightseeing at the sites of the wedding ceremony and reception and talk with the priest or minister who will perform the ceremony. You and your attendants may wish to select baroque style (about 1600-1750) wedding dresses that are available for rent in Rothenburg.

After a visit with a hairdresser and makeup artist, we drive you in an old-timer classic car to the small town of Schillingsfürst, located about 15 km south of Rothenburg. As you approach the town you will see the blinking lights of the Palace. Located high above the Hohenlohe region, it is one of the most imposing baroque residences in Southern Germany. The ornately stuccoed high ceilings and windows, antique oil paintings and wall hangings, baroque period candlesticks and elaborate furniture as well as the wonderful smell of lavish fresh flower arrangements together create a wedding ceremony in the style of Empress Sissi of Austria. Baroque music completes the magic.

After the ceremony, we drive you in a festive decorated horse drawn wedding-carriage down the valley, through the romantic Frankonian region. After passing through picturesque fields and meadows you will arrive at the quaint village of Diebach, located half of the distance to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. In the historical restaurant Krone, the landlord and landlady will welcome you and your quests with champaign and very excellent local wine. The multi-course wedding menu is prepared by the Krone's outstanding chef according to original baroque recipes. Baroque musicians provide entertainment during dinner and afterwards for dancing. If you like, a profi-dancer can lead you and your quests through the steps that were fashionable 300 years ago. The reception celebration ends with a gigantic baroque fireworks display. If you like you can spend your wedding night in the charming bridal suite of the guesthouse located across from the restaurant krone. The next morning it is a tradition at the Krone to give very special attention to the newlyweds.

Here is another of the many possible wedding scenarios.

After arriving in Rothenburg, you will go to a fine historic hotel located inside the old town wall with beautiful views of the Tauber river valley. During the next three days, you enjoy discovering the medieval town and surrounding pastoral countryside. You can do some sightseeing at the sites of the wedding ceremony and reception and talk with the priest or minister who will perform the ceremony. You and your attendants may wish to select medieval period wedding dresses that are available for rent in Rothenburg.

On the wedding-day after a visit with a hairdresser and makeup artist, we drive you in a stretch limo or classic car (your choice) and horse drawn carriage to Castle Amlishagen. The 14th century castle is situated above the dreamlike wood of the Brettach valley. Here on the castle plateau, witnessed by ancient trees, you say I do, like Knight Georg and his bride said to each other over 700 years ago. For the reception, the castle's medieval atmosphere comes alive with medieval music, singers, and dancing and the excellent catered period cuisine created to your wishes and served under the knights tent. In the late evening, torches and fireworks light up the sky and castle towers, setting the stage for the knighting of the groom. Today as in days of old, the ruler of the castle, Axel-The-Artist, has the right to knight a man who has performed a noble deed.
